Hey Rachel,
we just bought travel battleship, connect four, guess who, trouble and perfection to bring- also some jacks. lots of pearl cotton for bracelets! We were wondering- in light of the underwear issue- just buy some underwear for guys and girls? I'm sure when people send clothes they don't often send underwear. Jen has money she has raised and wants to get things they need.

what kinds of markers/ books were you thinking? Lots of coloring books are very juvenille or spiderman/disney/barbie. Maybe just paper and markers to draw with or some of those velvet posters that can be colored in.\

You said there is a Wal-Mart close by. Is it feasible to send money, dollars or pesos, and you can purchase underwear and clothing type needs (Nyquil if they have) if it is available there instead of trying to find room for someone to bring it? Not trying to pass the work off onto you, just figure there is only so much room to send stuff and want to make sure they get the necessities as well as the fun things.
On a completely different note: I don't know if you get to check Mrs. Landrum's blog but a family whom has adopted from the Ukraine who L has emailed with a few times donated $5,500 to Kristina's fund and that puts them over the $20,000 mark. There is some paperwork left to be filed and such but this was such a huge answer to prayer and obviously God opening the door wider. Still no firm idea on when L can go to Ukraine or when Kristina will be coming home but this clears much of the way.
Hi Rachel!! We'll be visiting family soon. i can't wait to see my cousins!!! I havent seen 2 of them for 2 & 1/2 years! I miss you SOOOOO much. What you are doing for the orphans in Mexico is really encouraging me to do my part for them, even though I'm not coming to mexico. I love you and miss you and want to see you soon. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
