I am home after two months of being away.
There are many things in my life that I will forever have a special place in my heart for. There are many things that have changed me and have affected me. Mexico, Casa Hogar, and it’s children are threads that have been interwoven into my life and memories. The many tears, smiles, snotty noses, bandaged knees, and faces will forever be with me. I hope and pray that I have been a blessing to the kids but more so they have been a blessing to me. They have loved me as I have loved them over these past two months. There is a story with every precious face and they have all touched me in some way. I have left Mexico and Casa Hogar but my heart remains there with the precious children that I have come to know and love over the past two months.
Thank you all for the constant prayers, words of encouragement, and love that I have received. You all were apart of allowing me to be there and be a light to those kids that needed it so desperately. I am home in the land of flushing toilets, constant water, and air conditioning! I already miss Acapulco. Will I be back next summer for a week, for two months, or not at all? I don’t know. I am willing to do whatever God has in store for me. But thank you all for being apart of this stage of my journey. Thank you!
